Acceptable Use Policy

Use Pitchbooks to run club operations safely, accurately and respectfully.

Last updated 24 August 2026

1. You may use Pitchbooks to

  • manage legitimate club, team, pitch, availability and booking information;
  • communicate with authorised club members about those operations; and
  • request support or a new club workspace in good faith.

2. You must not

  • use Pitchbooks for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, discriminatory or harmful activity;
  • attempt to access another person's account, club, data or permissions;
  • upload malware, exploit vulnerabilities, overload the service, or interfere with its availability;
  • scrape, copy, resell or commercially exploit the service or its data without permission;
  • enter passwords, payment details, health information, government identifiers or other unnecessary sensitive data into club records;
  • upload content that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, confidentiality or other rights; or
  • use the service to send unsolicited marketing or to impersonate another person or organisation.

3. Club administrator responsibilities

Administrators must invite people only when they have a legitimate reason and appropriate authority. They must set roles carefully, remove access when it is no longer needed, and make sure club-managed information is accurate and handled in line with applicable safeguarding and data-protection duties.

4. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected misuse and may remove content, limit features, suspend accounts or contact the relevant authorities where reasonably necessary to protect users, clubs, the service or the public. We will act proportionately where circumstances allow.

5. Reporting a concern

Report suspected security issues, abuse or unauthorised access to info@pitchbooks.co.uk. Do not include passwords or other sensitive information in your report.

These pages are a practical starting point for Pitchbooks and are not a substitute for advice from a qualified solicitor. Before launch, confirm the legal entity operating the service, registered address, data-processing arrangements and any paid-plan terms.
