1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. They can remember a session or preference, help provide requested functionality, or measure and personalise a service.
2. Cookies currently used by Pitchbooks
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| pitchbook_session | Keeps you signed in and lets the service identify your authorised session. | Up to 7 days |
| pitchbook_active_club | Remembers the club workspace you selected. | Up to 30 days |
These are first-party cookies used for account and workspace functionality. The application does not currently configure advertising, social-media or analytics cookies.
3. Stripe Checkout and billing portal
When a club administrator chooses to subscribe or manage billing, they are redirected to a Stripe-hosted page. Stripe may set cookies or use similar technologies on its own domain for checkout security, fraud prevention, payment processing and saved preferences. Those technologies are controlled by Stripe and described in Stripe's own privacy and cookie information.
4. Managing cookies
- Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their privacy settings.
- Blocking the authentication cookie will prevent sign-in and other protected features from working.
- If we introduce non-essential analytics, advertising or personalisation cookies, we will update this policy and provide an appropriate consent choice before setting them.
5. More information
